I’ve recently been getting bored with having the same few songs on shuffle for months, and I’m sure that plenty of us feel that way, especially with our finals study playlists working overtime to motivate whatever remains of our brain cells. So, here are a few song recommendations with a fun twist – they’re curated to capture the soundtrack of your astrological sign:

“Sacrifice” by Han Seungwoo for the hard-working and ambitious Capricorn

Capricorns are known for being smart, hardworking and willing to ~sacrifice~ anything for their goals, so a song about giving up everything for one’s lover seems to hit the mark. In true Capricorn fashion, Seungwoo is known for being an all-around artist with top-notch dancing, singing and even rapping skills which are all on full display on his debut solo song.

“Bindis and Bangles” for every honest and strong Taurus

Raja Kumari’s innovative rap track combines Western influences while staying true to her rich Indian roots. The music video portrays the artist as an ethereal Goddess who glitches into reality and is a perfect fit for every Taurus that is steadfast in their beliefs and unapologetically themself. (Also, it totally could’ve been Kate Sharma’s soundtrack in Bridgerton!)

“Deeper Love” for every idealistic, organized Virgo who’s mistaken for being too picky

While everyone has probably heard of Nick Jonas, a lot of his newer tracks including this one are definitely not as well-known as his fame might suggest. Jonas sings about believing and expecting more in his relationships on this track and investing everything into his relationship, just as Virgos are known to do. Although your high standards in love might strike others as pickiness, you have a plan for your life and nobody can knock that!

“The Outsider” for every independent and unique Aquarius

I have no clue why this isn’t a water sign, but I didn’t make the rules, and I know that one thing that every Aquarius doesn’t want to be trapped by is the rules. While choosing “Aquarius” by Tinashe would be very easy, that would lack the ingenuity this sign thrives on, so I figured this song by the 18-year-old Lyn Lapid worked fine. True to Lapid’s lyrics, Aquarians are outsiders to labels and incredibly individual.

Annie Dang’s “Skin” for every giving Libra with their head up in the clouds

Dang sings about her difficulty in letting herself heal and being unsure where her head is in this beautiful self-written song. I view Libras as day-dreamers who may pay more attention to others’ feelings at the expense of their own, just as this singer laments about not understanding her own feelings. While this sign may appear very self-confident, they may often struggle with insecurities about who they are or feeling comfortable in their own ~skin~ but this is also just a song I’m sure that many college students can relate to as they are searching for who they are in these formative years of their life.

The aptly-titled “Torn” for every unfairly-labeled as-two-faced Gemini

I’ve heard that this sign tends to get the most flak, but honestly, I relate more to the versatility and changeability of the Gemini sign than I do to being a confident and arrogant Leo, so I can totally understand where you’re coming from! Ava Max’s “Torn” perfectly captures how indecisive Gemini may be and how they often come across as having two sides for this.

If you are a fire or water sign, you weren’t forgotten! Your article has already been posted. I had fun learning about astrological signs to match songs to and whether you think these picks were accurate or not, I hope you found at least one new song to add to your playlist. Happy studying!
