Do you love how nail art looks but have no idea how to get started? I love doing nail art, and I always do my own nails before fancy events. Here are some products that you should buy, along with some tips if you are looking to start doing your own nails!

Long nail brush

Many nail polishes come with normal big brushes, but these make it hard to do intricate details or designs. Buying a nail kit with a thin brush will make it easy for you to draw designs on your nails and give you much more variety on the types of designs that you can add! I use the thin brushes to draw lines for French tips and dots. You can also easily write things on your nails using these brushes. An alternative to this could be a toothpick. I use this hack a lot when I am adding dots to my look.

Glitter nail polish

I use glitter nail polish often. It is one of my favorite things to add to my nails because it adds so much more pop. I frequently use the glitter polish to do an ombre effect so that only the tips have glitter.

Sponge/tissue

I use this product when I work with glitter, especially when I only want the glitter to go on specific parts of my nails. This is also what you use if you want an ombre effect with multiple colors on your nails. When I first started out, I did not have the nail sponge, so I would use tissues a lot. This works just as well as the sponge.

Stickers/stencils

Using stencils is quick and easy, and it lets you pick from pre-made designs instead of having to make your own. There are also cheap, yet beautiful stickers that you can buy and use on your nails. This gives off a professional look and is much easier than doing the art yourself!

Top coat

Using a top coat is essential for any nail look. The top coat is the best way to keep your nail polish from chipping and it gives your nails a shiny or matte finish, which makes them look more professional.

I love doing nail art because I am interested in art in general, and I think this is an amazing way for you to be creative and also make your nails look beautiful! This is also a much cheaper alternative to getting your nails done at professional salons, which are usually pricey. I hope these tips help you with your nail art!
