This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UK chapter.

If you have been paying any attention to the news in the last week, you would know how much damage Hurricane Dorian has done to the Bahamas. It is the strongest tropical system to impact the Bahamas and has left at least 70,000 people homeless. Although all this information can seem discouraging, there are a few small ways to help.

  1. World Central Kitchen

This organization delivers fresh meals to those in need. Recently, they have been focusing their efforts in the Bahamas and are serving 20,000 meals a day in the area. You can donate money to help them continue their amazing work.
