Real Not Reality: Bennett Tops My List of Favorite Things

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UK chapter.

As I sat in my doctor’s office this morning waiting to get my flu shot I wondered whether celebrities, specifically my name counterpart Lauren Conrad and my role model in hilarity Chelsea Handler, go to their doctors or pharmacies to get flu shots or if they have a personal doctor come in and administer the vaccine in the comfort of their own homes.

Four minutes later, as the nurse reclined me on the table for the second time and held a cold towel to my forehead I knew that if I was famous, the first thing I would do would be contract in-home health care.

After my run-in with the flu shot caused me to go dizzy and lose all color in my face…twice, may I remind you…I have decided to absolve myself from all responsibility to do any schoolwork for the rest of the day.

I know, I know. It is the week before finals so I must be crazy (which I am attributing to all that H1N1 vaccine flowing through my body right now).

Ignoring my to-do list (aside from writing about my traumatic day for all of you to enjoy), I have decided to get in the holiday spirit and spend my evening with a few of my ‘favorite things.’

  1. Texts from Bennett. – Haven’t checked out the tumblr blog yet? Do it and thank me later. There is also a Twitter account that includes texts from before the blog was started. Enjoy them both and then get yourself some lasagna.
  2. Reddit. – I’m a sucker from some puppy pictures.
  3. My DVR. – American Horror Story is all new tonight!
  4. Wrapping presents to set under my lit and decorated Christmas tree.
  5. And finally, a glass of wine. Just for good measure.

Now if only I can get my two dogs to behave for once. Which brings me to the realization that the second thing I would get if I were famous would be a dog walker.
