With the new year comes new movies. This year will be filled with a variety of interesting movies to check out. Most of the movies that are coming out have been highly anticipated, other movies are new and maybe a little more unexpected. I am going to share four movies I am looking forward to this year.

  • Avengers Endgame

Avengers Endgame is the part two of Avengers Infinity War. Endgame will be the final showdown with Thanos. The remaining avengers must figure out a way to bring back the rest of the team. Tony Stark is also still stuck in space and must figure out a way to get back to earth. This movie looks a lot promising to look out for, especially for action fans. Look for Avengers Endgame April 26, 2019.

  • Happy Death Day 2U

This is sequel to Happy Death Day, which was a pretty suspenseful movie about a girl reliving her murder. This time the other characters in the film are experiencing the same twisted version of deja vu. They must figure out who their killer is and stop them in order to escape their recurring nightmares. Look for Happy Death Day 2U Feb. 14, 2019.

  • Secret Life of Pets 2

This movie is also a sequel. The first installment of the movie focused on a dog named Max getting a new brother. They go on a pretty crazy adventure and become friends with some unlikely animals. Follow Max and his friends on an exciting new adventure. Also enjoy the addition of Tiffany Haddish to the cast. Look for Secret Life of Pets 2 June 7, 2019.

  • IT Chapter 2

The last movie I am looking forward to is the sequel to IT. The gang is back as adults and ready to face off against PennyWise. There is not much information to be found about the plot of the movie so you will just have to go see for yourself. Look for IT Chapter 2, Sept. 16, 2019.

This year is jam packed with a variety of new movies. No matter what genre you are interested in, there is something for everyone this year.
