  • How did you get involved with Her Campus UK?

One of my close friends was involved with HC UK. She told me about all the cool opportunities and how you get to write creative articles, so I was instantly hooked.

 

 

  • What is your favorite part about being a writer for Her Campus UK?

My favorite part about being a HC UK writer is getting the opportunity to write creatively about anything I want and share that on a platform with other women!

 

 

  • What is your dream job?

My dream job is to be a Public Relations professional for a children’s hospital or organization.

 

 

  • What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include hanging out with my dogs, shopping, cooking/baking and binge watching 80s movies.

Iced coffee all the way because you can drink it all year round, it tastes way better cold and it is very refreshing!

 

 

  • Any advice for new students whom might want to get involved in Her Campus UK?

My advice for any students looking to get involved with HC UK is to definitely do it! If you have a passion for writing or even just sharing your voice, HC provides an awesome platform to do so!

 

 

  • What is your favorite memory so far at UK?

My favorite memory at UK has to be meeting some of my best and closest friends here.

As junior at the University of Kentucky, I study Integrated Strategic Communication with a focus in Public Relations. I aspire to be a public relations professional for a healthcare facility that works to positively impact the lives of children, families and the community. My experience as a PR/Marketing intern at the UK International Center has helped me to gain valuable skills in creating promotional digital and print materials for an organization as well communicating to an organization's target audiences. My position as a Resident Advisor as also allowed me to grow my event planning, public communication and creative marketing skills. My top strengths include achiever, developer, futuristic, responsibility and learner.
