Finals Through the Eyes of Spongebob

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UK chapter.

Finals week has finally made its brutal and unwanted entrance. And if you are anything like me, you are currently trying to figure out how in the world you are going to pull an A+ final paper out of your butt, because your brain literally cannot anymore.

If you know me on a personal level, you know that I am a huge fan of Spongebob SquarePants. You can judge me, it is fine, because honestly sometimes I feel like I am the real life Spongebob.

If Spongebob was taking finals this week, here is how he would be handling it:

  • When your alarm goes off on the morning of your first final exam:

  • Turning in your final exam to your professor and they say, “How do you think you did?”

  • When you sit down to write your final paper and you feel like you have gotten a lot written, but in reality this is all you have typed:

  • “How in the world are you going to pass this exam if you have not even studied?”

  • How you feel trying to maintain your somewhat healthy diet, get an adequate amount of sleep, finish up all of your assignments, write all of you papers, call your mom and see your friends during finals week:

  • Walking into the classroom to take your last final of the week like:

  • Walking back to your dorm or car after completely bombing your last final exam, but it does not matter because you are just happy to finally be done with the worst week of the semester:

Stay strong everyone! We are almost to the finish line!
