Accepting that Spring Break is Over

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UK chapter.

Was it not just winter break a week ago? Now, spring break is over and we are all back to the grind to finish up the semester and finals (eek!) strong. Well, kind of. If you’re anything like me you are dreaming of spring break and wishing you were still waking up late in bed. To help you cope, here are the five stages of Spring Break loss.

Denial

No, no, it really cannot be over. It was just here. I refuse to accept that spring break is over!

Anger

UUUUUGH! I am sooooo done with all-nighters and papers and finals. I am dropping out.

Bargaining

Maybe if I just never go back, spring break will never really end. I will take 21 hours next term if I just do not have to go back.

Depression

Netflix never judges me not getting out of bed. Netflix understands. Going to class in your pajamas is acceptable right?

Acceptance

You know what, I am so lucky to get an education…wait it is summer break already?

I hope each and everyone of you had a great spring break! Finish strong, ladies!
