For twenty years, I was convinced that Raven-Symone’s last name was Symone. I always thought, “wow, what a cool last name!” The other day, I had turned on Raven’s Home, a reboot of the Disney Channel original, That’s So Raven, while looking for a show to play in the background while I did my homework. I was watching the title sequence when I noticed the hyphen in Raven’s name. I’m no name expert, but I thought it was weird for there to be a hyphen in her name.
So I googled Raven and found out that her full name is Raven-Symone Christina Pearman. Oh snap! Was I the only one that never noticed the hyphen in her name? Was the hyphen always there? I have a lot of questions, Disney Channel!
