Valentine’s day is just around the corner and that means love letters, chocolate boxes, teddy bears, and roses being purchased at an exponential rate. I’m a huge believer in self-pampering because it’s good for your mental and emotional well-being because self-love is crucial for one’s survival. I try my best to have a day where I can treat myself. Here’s my typical self-care routine.

  • Conditioner

  • Hair Mask

  • Hair Clamps

  • Hair Towel

  • Body Wash

  • Body Oil

  • Deodorant

  • Body Splash

  • Towel

  • Buf Puf

  • Facial Cleanser

  • Shower Sponge

  • Speaker

  • Eucalyptus Mint Shower Spray

Steps:

  1. Connect your phone to your speaker using bluetooth. Go to your music app, and play your soundtrack. This way you won’t have to get out of the shower to change your music.

  2. Spray 2-4 spritzes of eucalyptus mint shower spray over the showerhead. The mint aroma creates a relaxing environment.

  3. Wash and detangle your hair with your products. Make sure you sing loud in the shower!

  4. Once you finish cleaning your hair, wrap your hair in a hair towel.

  5. Swap out your hair products for your skincare products.

  6. With your buf-puf and facial cleanser, gently exfoliate your skin. Rinse off the product with cool water.

  7. Take your shower sponge and body wash and clean your body. Don’t forget to sing!

  8. Get out of the shower and put body oil all over your skin. **don’t completely dry off because wet skin absorbs the products better.

  9. Spray a body fragrance over your clothes.

  10. Clean up, then relax and enjoy yourself!
