1. J.P. Graziano, 901 West Randolph Street, West Loop

This West loop shop makes amazing Italian subs. One of their most famous options is the Prosciutto. The grocery store, itself, has been around since 1933, but the sandwiches started in 2007 and have since expanded to include soups, salads, and desserts which make it a successful business.

2. Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, 174 N Wabash Avenue, The Loop

This sandwich restaurant started in 1976, in Delaware, but has opened its first location downtown. Their cheese steak sandwiches and Italian sandwiches are delicious.

3. Fontano’s Subs, 1058 W Polk St, University Village

This nearby sandwich location is a frequent spot for students. They have many options of sizes you can choose from. Some of the most famous are the Wiseguy and the Blockbuster. The sandwiches are freshly made in front of you, and the staff is friendly.

4. Cafecito, 26 E Congress Parkway, South Loop

With three locations in Chicago, this sandwich place is famous for its Cuban coffee and sandwiches. Their Pollo Chipotle and Chivito with steak, bacon and fried egg are delicious options for a lunch.
