If you’ve seen Pitch Perfect 1 and 2, you’ve probably randomly put “aca-” to the beginning of a word. It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve seen what The Bellas are up to, well you’re in luck because the Barden Bellas are back to compete in their last competition as an acapella group. Pitch Perfect 3 is out in less than a month, and I can’t wait to see the other amazing hits the Bellas decide to spice up their last competition.
The sneak peek video finds the Bellas overseas on a USO tour where we find Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson), Beca (Anna Kendrick), Florencia (Chrissie Fit), Aubrey (Anna Camp), Emily (Hailee Steinfeld), Chloe (Brittany Snow), and the rest of the group find a new band who tries to intimidate them. However, knowing our Bellas, we know that they won’t let that happen. They respond by challenging these newbies to a riff-off with commentators Elizabeth Banks and John Michael.
It’s pretty heated until Wilson’s Amy belts out a foghorn note to Pink’s “Get the Party Started,” Walk the Moon’s “Shut up and Dance with me,” R. Kelly’s ” Ignition,” and Dr. Dre’s “Let me Ride.” Aubrey then claims that the Bellas have won the riff-off due to the opponents using instruments. This isn’t going to be an easy competition; can they fight their way to the top of the other instrument playing bands? You’ll just have to find out when Pitch Perfect 3 comes out in theaters on December 22.
