IT’S ABOUT TIME. No really. That’s the name of Young the Giant’s first single in 3 years! You may remember their first smash, “My Body” or radio favorite, “Cough Syrup.” Regardless, these Cali kings of cool return with a graduated edge after a well-deserved “break.”
West Coast natives have revamped the sunny side of their music, channeling a harder sound without losing their signature soul, driven by lead singer Sameer Gadhia’s smooth vocals. The fresh single will have to tide us until their sophomore effort, set for a January 21st release. Fingers crossed for an accompanying North American tour, and keep reading my blog for updates!
