Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10th this year and with everything going on, it will be a little different. To be safe, I am ordering my gifts online and I have compiled a list of gifts that I think are perfect for any woman in your life! This Mother’s Day is special for me because it is my sister’s first mother’s day. She had her first child, a baby girl in November. So not only will I be looking for something for her, but my own mom as well.

Mother’s Day Gift Guide

1. Stickers

They are very fun and there are so many options to personalize for the person you are getting them for. These stickers are from Andrea who is known for her pressed flower bouqets. She does a lot more than bouqets and has beautiful sticker designs. For my sister, who lives in California, I bought her the California sticker, along with the baby foot, and dog paw sticker. Stickers are perfect to put on water bottles or even scrapbooks.

2. Flower Vase

Anhtropologie has a bunch of aesthically pleasing items for homeowners who want to add a touch of style to their home. I thought these vases are so cute and they come in three different color choices to match any home decor. This is the perfect gift for moms because they have somewhere to put their Mother’s Day flowers and flowers for any occasion after that.

3. Candles

My sister, like I mentioned previously, lives in California and you can find succulents all around California. I thought these candles were so unique and not only do they look good but they smell good! They come in two scents; pine and vanilla or white tea and jasmine. I also love that the site Uncommon Goods features artists. So when you buy this you can feel good that you are supporting an artist and not a chain.

4. Jewerly

What better gift to give for Mother’s Day than a mama necklace. This is such a simple necklace that mother’s can wear everyday and show off that they are a mama! This is one of the higher-end items on the list but I think it is well worth it. Ana Luisa does not outsource their work, everything is sustainably made, and this specific necklace is made of 14k gold. They also are having a Mother’s Day sale, buy one, get one 35% off.

5. Pictures

This is such a simple idea but I feel like printing pictures is not that common. I love printing pictures for people and writing a note on the back of it. Walgreens has been a very reliable place to get same day printed pictures. They are always having sales so keep an eye out. To take that extra step with your gift, print out a picture and decorate a frame!

6. Makeup

ELF really is that OG brand for me. I have always loved their makeup because they are affordable which allowed me to try out makeup. This brand has really grown along with its consumers and still does not disappoint me with their quality and price. My mom rarely uses makeup and therefore she does not change her makeup often. I love ELF because even though she may not use it often, it will not feel like a waste of money if it gets old. Here are some makeup ideas to buy: Lip Lacquer in wild rose, Prime & Stay Finishing Powder, 16hr Camo Concealer, Total Face Sponge, and Wow Brow Gel. That is the perfect set for someone like my mom who does not wear makeup often

7. Bath and Shower

After my sister had her baby she barely had time to take a shower let alone exfoliate and lotion. So when I went to the Lush store they suggested the Buffy bar which is a two-in-one! This is great for new moms who do not have time to take long luxurious showers but still would like to feel like they are. Lush overall is a great place to find a gift because they focus on natural ingredients and you can find something for anyone with their wide range of products.

8. Tea

I saw this company being advertised on my Instagram and I love the idea behind it. The owner, who is first-generation, created a convential tea. The name says it all, you unwrap and drop the ball of tea into your cup. No need for a strainer! Besides the convience, there is a variety of flavors to choose from and if you cannot figure out which one to choose, they offer sample boxes. For example, they have the dessert sampler with tea flavors I have never heard of like Orange Cinnamon Roll and Ginger Peach Cobbler. This is another gift that can make you feel good because you are “supporting organic production, fair trade wages, clean water aid, and American Made” (Sashee Chandran).

9. French Press

If the woman in your life is not a tea person and prefers coffee, this french press is so adorable! I personally do not like coffee but I know my mom uses a french press and finds it convient to use. It is also better than using a Keurig because you are not using single-waste plastic from the cups. This french press comes in two colors; white and lavender. It also has 4.8/5 stars which is great!

10. Face Masks

Choc Choc Cosmetics is a store located in Chicago’s Lakeview area. They specialize in Korean skin care which has become very popular in America. I ordered their 7 day mask challenge and I loved it! Rather than just buying one mask for someone, you can buy a variety for them to try out. It came quickly and the packaging was very cute. I had a lot of fun trying out the different brands of Korean skincare. They are also offering free shipping, so for $20 you can get the perfect gift on a budget.

11. Makeup Eraser

Being a mom I am sure means having limited time. I love Makeup Eraser and the whole idea behind it. If you have watched Susan Yara then I hope you ditched your makeup wipe a while ago. Not only are they bad for the enviroment but the chemicals can be bad for your skin. With the makeup eraser it cuts both of those worries out! Their microfiber cloths are machine washable and take your makeup off with a few swipes in less than 5 minutes. They also come in a variety of fun patterns to choose from!
