I Know Jane
“Shoes Connecting Our Global Community”
By: Jared Petravicious & Simon Tumansky
Hey collegiettes! Her Campus UIC is proud to present to you I know Jane. We strongly believe and support everything this company does and are happy to share with you what I know Jane is all about. I know Jane is an up and coming company that strives to be a model for the fashion industry by supporting fair wages and just labor laws, and contributing to the betterment of society. They manufacture their shoes in a small factory in Novo Hamburgo, a city located in southern Brazil. Most importantly I know Jane operates under sweatshop-free labor. There are nine people who work at this factory in Brazil, all of whom belong to the local union. I know Jane distinguishes itself from other leading brands by creating innovative designs that support the dignity of workers and our global community.
Every pair of shoe is signed by a worker from their company!
I know Jane’s first shoe design is an eco-friendly, fashion forward, socially conscious flat. However this is not just any flat, this is a flat that you can carry on the go! It is perfect for a night out and comes with a custom Fabric Bag for you to put your shoes in. With its arch support design, a shape that provides space for your toes, and a low-cut design that avoids common blister spots for your feet; you are sure to have a stylish shoe without sacrificing comfort! I know Jane’s flat is not only socially conscious, portable and comfortable, and stylish but also uses eco-friendly material.
I know Jane’s color options:
Shoes are offered in sizes: 6 7 8 9 10 11 12
Flats without bag retail at $75
Flats with bag retail at $90
