Remember when you were a little kid and your mom or dad would take you to the toy store? You got excited about the working elevator inside Barbie’s Dream House or the play kitchen with a fake food set that you could actually take apart! Well, after I turned 20, I still had this same excitement except not over toys anymore. Here’s five things 20-year-olds get excited about that they never cared for before.
1. Kitchenware- Have you ever seen the Rae Dunn collections you can buy at Home Goods? Imagine having a kitchen to display your matching sets!
2. Not having plans/plans that get canceled- Remember a week ago when you thought it was a good idea to go out on a Friday night? Well, now a better idea would just be to cancel those plans.
3. Free samples- Whenever I go to Costco, all the free samples I get sometimes end up being my lunch for the day.
4. Hardwood floors!- There is nothing more exciting than watching “Property Brothers” and hearing there are hardwood floors under the raggedy, old carpet!
5. Being in bed by 9 PM- A rare situation but imagine being done with your day before 9 pm!
