Fashion Blog: Outfits For A Girl’s Night Out

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

After an entire week spent sitting in lectures and studying in libraries, every collegiate deserves a night out on the town. In case you’re still in school mode, I’ve got a few ideas for your next night out.

Monochromatic

When in doubt, go for a monochromatic color palette like the classic black and white combo. There’s nothing as sleek and chic as a white blazer paired with pumps and your favorite black skinny jeans.

Tip: Add a statement necklace and red lipstick to amp up this look!

Once A Cheetah…

Mixing bold colors with daring prints is an easy way to stand out from the Friday night crowd. A colorful skater skirt is quite a girly choice, so opting to pair it with a crop top and an edgy printed bag will help to balance out your look.

Tip: Wear a pair of sheer black tights to keep those limbs warm this fall.

Fancy Footwork

Even if your night out doesn’t call for heels, you can still step out with some fancy footwork. Wearing bold flats is one way to add a bit of oomph! to a casual evening outfit.

Tip: Keep it bold on the bottom (i.e. statement shoes & colored pants) and simple on the top (i.e. white blouse & black bag).
