Chicago’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

Live in Chicago and trying to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day weekend? Head out to the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade with your friends and family! You could enjoy a series of performances like bagpipers, step dancers, floats, dancers, and marching bands. Not only this, but they dye the Chicago River green!

This year, the annual parade will be on Saturday, March 16. Stop by and check out the river as they dye it green. Also, watch out for the skyscrapers at night, the city will light them up green!

Check the parade schedule to know exact locations.
