The Best NBA Halloween Costumes of 2018

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

Every year, NBA players impress fans with the costumes they show up in on Halloween. This year, many players showed up as popular culture icons from the past year, or simply, spooky characters. Here’s a look at some of the best costumes from this year:

JaVale McGee as The Grinch

As Sia says, “Everyday is Christmas.” I also like that McGee’s take on the Grinch involves donning a designer fanny-pack.

Josh Hart as Dwight Schrute

Hart’s caption puts it best, “Identity theft is not a joke, Josh.”

Klay Thompson as Jackie Moon

The Splash Brother took the headband game to the next level by dressing up as the Semi-Pro character.

Victor Oladipo as Black Panther

This isn’t the first time Oladipo has involved himself with the Black Panther. During the All-Star game this year, he had a Black-Panther-inspired dunk, put on a mask and had help from actor Chadwick Boseman.

LeBron James as Jason Voorhees

I did not think that LeBron could top his Pennywise costume, but I have to admit, his costume this year is much more terrifying!
