One of my favorite book series growing up was The Baby-Sitters Club. When I was younger, I received a set of about twenty books from my neighbor which I always kept on display. That’s why finding out that Netflix will soon release ten live-action episodes adapted from the series made the child in me giddy.
The series sparked a one season show on HBO back in the ’90s as well as a movie that was released in 1995. Hence, the fact that a show based on the book series is being released nearly twenty years after the last book was published is exciting for all fans of the series.
Although Netflix has not yet announced when the show will officially launch, it looks like millennial culture is alive and well!
