Our generation loves to binge watch shows. We love sitting down for hours, watching episode after episode of any show that will capture our attention. The shows that I love the most are shows that provide strong female role models in the forefront. Here are some binge-worthy shows that star female leads.
1. Jane The Virgin
Starring Gina Rodriguez, this show follows Jane who finds out she is pregnant although she’s never had sex.
2. Scandal
Scandal follows lawyer Olivia Pope who “fixes problems” in D.C. She never sleeps and is definitely #careergoals
3. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Kimmy Schmidt is on her own after being apart of a doomsday cult for most of her adult life. She must adjust to the modern world while living in New York City.
4. Broad City
Broad City follows the lives of two best friends Ilana and Abbi as they attempt to work and date in NYC.
5. Grace and Frankie
After finding out their husbands are leaving them for each other, Grace and Frankie move in together and attempt to find themselves post-retirement.
6. Orange Is The New Black
Most likely you’ve already watched OITNB, but if you haven’t it follows women in prison and uncovers their backstories.

Issa is shy and awkward. She must learn to cope with her own insecurities about her life.
