5 Reasons Why Drake and Rihanna are Perfect for Eachother

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

If Drake and Rihanna’s dancing throughout her world tour to her song Work was not enough evidence that these two are an item, maybe his confession of being in love with her since he was 22 years old at the 2016 VMA’s verified this conspiracy. Rumors of an intimate relationship between the two have been circulating for years and many fans of the two have been hoping for it to be true. RiRi and the 6 God are being advertised as “relationship goals” throughout social media and here are 5 reasons why:

1. The idea of them is cute

There is something about a corky Jimmy Brooks from Degrassi: The Next Generation getting the ultimate girlfriend, the most desired bad gal, Rihanna. Even though Drake is no chump now, he seems to feel so lucky and privileged to have Rihanna as his girlfriend.

2. Understanding of each other’s fame

Drake and Rihanna are arguably 2 of the biggest musicians in the industry today. Between world tours, studio sessions, and appearances, their schedules are jam packed and would be nearly impossible for someone not in the industry to understand.

3. Production of great music together

Anytime these two have collabed, magic has been created. From What’s My Name? to Take Care and from Too Good to Work, Rihanna and Drake have an undeniable recipe for making good music together. Being a couple will add to their collection of hits which will make fans happy.

4. This rapper shows his feelings

Rappers have the reputation of being hard and against showing emotion of any kind. Drake is the complete opposite of this and is not afraid to show his lady some love no matter what the occasion.

5. They support each other

From Drake showing up and performing to Work at Rihanna’s concert to Rihanna missing Crop Over (which she never does) to perform at OVO fest, they each go out of their way to support the other.
