As college students, we all have times when we’re low on cash. Most of us also love trying out new makeup, but these products can get expensive. Luckily, there are a lot of good finds in your local drug and beauty supply stores. Here’s a list of some of my favorites cosmetics for $5 or less!
1. Eyeliner
This Ruby Kisses eyeliner stick comes in vibrant colors and lasts throughout the entire day. You can find it at your local beauty supply store for only $1.99!
2. Lipstick
This Revlon lipstick is a personal favorite of mine. For only $5, you can get one of Revlon’s many different shades of lipsticks. Also long-lasting, these can be found at Target or Walmart.
3. Concealer
LA Girls’ Pro Conceal comes in over 7 different shades. It has a nice consistency and has an attached brush for application. This concealer is only $2.99 at Walgreens, and it is also offered at many different beauty supply stores.
4. Eyeshadow
Wet n Wild offers many different eyeshadow palettes at an affordable price. The smallest palette has three colors and costs $2.99, the biggest has 8 colors and costs $4.79 at Walgreens and CVS. Not only do both stores offer many different colors, but they also have great sales like buy 1get 1 50% off or buy 2 get 1 free!
5. Eyeshadow Primer
This E.L.F. eyeshadow primer would go great with bright colors. One of their other primers comes in a warmer color and works better with darker eyeshadows. This primer is only $2.00 at Walmart or Target. E.L.F. also offers a number of different cosmetic products for under $5, including eyeliner (pens, liquids, gel, and pencils), eyelashes, brushes, and concealers.
