11 Thoughts You Have While Working on a Final Paper or Project

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

It is officially time to start writing final papers and doing final projects. Good Luck!

1. Can this be a group effort?

You can lessen the load and/or blame them for the low grade.

2. and if it is….

Where is my group?

You check your Google Doc and you find nothing done but your part.

3. I should have started earlier

You begin to feel regret and sadness, all in one.

4. and if it is earlier…

I have enough time

I can watch another season on Netflix, or go out, or both.

5. Whats the minimum I can do to still pass the class?

This is where you spend more time calculating your grade than actually getting work done.

6. Maybe I can move up to a Burger King manager one day

Then maybe CEO?

7. How important are my morals and ethics?

The next family reunion would be very awkward.

8. I’ll take a nap

You set an alarm and everything so you must be good to go but…

9. If you do take a nap…

How long was I out for?

What year is it now?

10. How can I space out my paper to get the full 5 pages?

Will my professor notice its a 12.5 font with a 2.5 spacing?

11. Does my professor accept BS work?

Will putting somewhere on the paper that this is all BS give me some extra points for honesty?

Hi, I'm Daniela. I'm a Sociology major with a minor in Criminology and Business Administration. I have been involved with Her Campus since my freshmen year, working in editorial, marketing, and social media. As president of Her Campus UIC, I am excited to see our chapter grow throughout my last year here.
Erin is a Communication student at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the President and Editor-in-Chief of UIC's Her Campus chapter. On a daily basis, she can be found making excessive film references and getting overly emotional about superhero TV shows. She has a deep passion for writing, movies, music, good books, and great food, and will gladly talk your ear off about all of the above if prompted to do so.
