With the release of the Wale and Lupe Fiasco tickets this Monday, it leaves people wondering how does UH get such great performers for its students. Wonder no longer; Ladies and Gentlemen it is my pleasure to introduce this week’s Campus Celebrity, Marlen Mendoza.
She is the Concert Chair for the Student Program Board! This means we can all bow down, and thank her for the concerts that are performed at UH.
When you meet Marlen it is obvious that she is a passionate person, and she gives off a chill vibe that we all wish to emulate. When asked what she loves most about her position as concert chair she says, “Meeting new artists…[and] supporting their music.” Marlen is a Senior this year, majoring in Public Relations, and hopes to take her talent and experience gained at UH into her bright future. She highly recommends others to join an organization, and get involved!
