Your Quick Guide to Game Day Fashion

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

There’s probably no better season than football season, especially here at UGA. Now that football has begun, you probably can’t wait to pull out your t-shirt that you bought from the bookstore or your favorite Nick Chubb jersey. If you’re into fashion or want to switch up your game day look, here are four trends that you can try out at the next game.

1. Cowgirl Boots

This trend is for all of my Southern belles. No game day outfit is complete without your favorite pair of cowgirl boots. It’s a fashion staple amongst many schools throughout the south, including UGA. Not only are they absolutely adorable, but they’re versatile as well. Style them with a cute pair of jeans or shorts, or put them together with your favorite game day dress.

2. A Casual Dress

Casual dresses are easy, comfortable, and add a feminine touch to any game day outfit.

3. Chevron Print

If you’re into bold prints and making a statement, then try incorporating chevron print/pattern into your outfit. This could include a chevron printed dress, skirt, or top.

4. Jerseys and T-shirts

Maybe dressing up isn’t your style, and you want to go for a more simple and laid back look. T-shirts and jerseys are great, but they don’t have to be plain and boring. Try finding shirts that have cute slogans and logos, or jerseys that are glittered and sequined. Pair them with a cute pair of shorts and sneakers and you are game day ready!
