Trends to Throw Away and Keep in 2015

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.
We shop, we give away, we recycle. With the new year in full swing, It is time to decide what needs to go and what needs to stay. We know this can be tough. However, that puffy sweater you got on the discount rack at Forever 21 might need to stay in 2014. Here are a few styles that definitely need to come back this year and a few that definitely need to go.

Throw Away

1. Neon

Let’s try to limit neon to workout clothes and accessories. Wearing it another way is just asking for a disaster.

2. Classic UGGs

These were unflattering 8 years ago and they still are today. Do yourself a favor and throw these out.

Keep

1. Leather

Whether it’s faux or real, leather is definitely the move for 2015, so keep it up pretty ladies!

2. Mod Clothing

There was something magically classy about this decade. For that reason, rock all your sixties gear fearlessly in this new year.

We’re already a few weeks into the new year but that doesn’t mean we still can’t take the time to purge our closets a little. Hopefully this helps transitioning into 2015 smooth and painless! Stay flawless, collegiettes!
