Who says great skincare can’t be vegan? Here’s the top five vegan skincare brands you should be following, in no particular order.

1. Pacifica Beauty

Pacifica Beauty is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and can be found in many drug stores and big box makeup chains. They also have recyclable packaging for many of their products. My personal favorites: their Sea Foam Complete Face Wash and their Cactus Revive Milk-to-Foam Face Wash.

2. Sand & Sky

Sand & Sky is an Australian botanical skincare company. They skip all the hard ingredients and steps to make easy products for beach lovers to use, as referred to on Sephora’s website. They want to share with customers the Australian lifestyle and its flora and fauna. They are known for their Pink Clay Face Mask.

3. Yes To

Yes To has always been popular and can be found in large chains like Target and CVS. While the company is not entirely vegan, much of the products are! Their products are free of nasty ingredients, have happy packaging, and work alongside women and great organizations, as mentioned on their website. Their line is affordable, natural, and made of fruits and veggies that actually smell good. They support “Yes to Happiness” and great standards. My personal favorites are the Yes To Coconut Cleansing Wipes and the Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Wipes.

4. Shea Moisture

Shea Moisture can also be found in many drug stores and chains. They use natural hair and skin care recipes, support partner cooperatives, and foster women empowerment programs and educational scholarships. They follow ethical standards and “safe uncompromising beauty.” My favorites are the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Shampoo and its equivalent in body lotion.

5. Raw Sugar

I do not have enough space to share all my love for Raw Sugar. Simply put, I found Raw Sugar in a beauty box I had received as a present and fell in love. I kept on buying their products. They use “pure, natural, plant-derived certified organic extracts,” ColdPress Technology for skin, and eco-packaging which includes beautiful bamboo tops for “love down to the details.” They also have some amazing scents! I love their Vanilla Bean + Sugar Body Wash, their Pineapple + Maqui Berry + Coconut Body Sugar Scrub, the Lemon Sugar Body Butter, and their lip scrubs and lip balms.

Hopefully you will love these products as well!
