Spring weather means sunny days, flowers, and good moods, but it also means rainy days. You know what they say, “April showers bring May flowers”? It makes sense, but it can be kind of frustrating when you don’t know what to wear. Check out these two cute rainy day outfits to help you figure out what you want to wear next time it rains!

This outfit is casual, cute and can be made with things you probably already own. Graphic tees and denim are staples in every wardrobe and can be easily dressed up or down. One great thing about this basic outfit is how easily it can be jazzed up with a bright rain jacket and cute rain boots. Even if you already have a jacket or rainboots that are in neutral or dark colors, consider investing in another rain jacket or boots in a brighter color such as yellow, mint green or coral. These little updates can leave you looking super cute and still protected from the rain! Rain jackets can be around $30 but can last many seasons if the quality is good. Forever 21, H&M and other similar stores have inexpensive graphic tees with bright spring prints that look really nice on their own or with a bright rain jacket. Graphic tees are inexpensive and are usually less than $15. Hunter Boots are great but can be pretty expensive…since we are on a budget, check out Target and ASOS for great rainboots for more than half the price of Hunter Boots.

When it’s raining and dark outside, it’s already hard to get out of bed and get dressed. If you want to get dressed in less than ten minutes, throw on a t-shirt dress. This outfit is easy, effortless, and looks put together without even trying. Another great thing about t-shirt dresses is that they’re super versatile and comfortable. You won’t just be buying it to wear with a rain jacket because it can be worn in many different weather types, and it’s so comfortable that you will want to wear it all the time! The best thing about this outfit is it’s inexpensive! Building off the previous outfit, having a bright jacket paired with a basic t-shirt dress like the one Ally Deaver is wearing creates a nice contrast and is perfect for spring without having to wear bold colors. Since the jacket is a colorful piece, it’s good to have a dress that is basic, and the best place for basics is H&M! H&M has A LOT of t-shirt dresses for $20 and under!
