1. They take into consideration that you are a student.
Your bosses know that you are a full time student who may have to work to pay the outrageous costs of college and living in general. That being said, they will not only be more understanding when it comes finals time and you may not be able to work as much. In addition, many schools have weekly limits on how many hours that you can work. This is a great way to prevent yourself from becoming too overworked or too overwhelmed with trying to balance it all!
2. Built in set of friends!
I honestly don’t know what I would do without my work family. Not only do they throw parties every weekend and are always down to do fun things together, they genuinely care about me. One day, I came to work upset and every single person I worked with asked if I was alright and if there was anything they could do to help. Even just yesterday, after I got off work my coworker offered to take me home beause he thought I didn’t have a ride. You don’t find those kinds of people all the time.
3. Easy Transportation
If your job is on campus, wherever it may be, it will most likely be a walkable distance from where you live especially if you live on campus! Having the option to walk could be a great option if you live really close or if traffic is terrible!
4. Get to know more people on campus
Working at the gym, I see the same people almost every day. It’s interesting to get to know all the regulars. On the flip side, if you work a lot, people will get to know you too!
