Finals Week (As Told by Empire)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

Finals. It’s the one word that can put a damper on your holiday spirit. Before we can truly enjoy the holiday season, we have to survive finals week. Whether you have been studying weeks in advance or plan on cramming at the last minute, finals will have you experiencing a roller coaster of different emotions. Just like the show Empire, with it’s drama, plot twists, and shocking revelations. Sounds a lot like finals week, right?

When your professor gives you the study guide and it’s not the material you were expecting.

When you spent the past few weeks procrastinating, and now you have to spend the night cramming. It’s time to get serious.

Your stress level has reached an all time high, and you feel as if finals are kicking your butt.

But you finally grab some coffee and all is right with the world.

You spent the entire night studying, and feel ready to ace your test.

You feel on top of the world until you realize…that was only one test and you have the rest of the week to go.

Thus, the cycle starts all over again.
