Drink Up and Slim Down: Four Delicious and Nutritious Smoothie Recipes

As busy college girls on the go, sometimes it can be hard to squeeze a healthy meal into your schedule. Luckily, these delicious smoothies are here to save the day! Packed with tons of protein and vitamins, these meal replacers will give you way more energy than your afternoon latte, but at a fraction of the sugar cost! All you need is a blender!

 

Strawberry Banana Smoothie:

2 handfuls baby spinach

1 cup frozen strawberries (you can use fresh, but frozen have more nutrients)

1 banana, sliced

1 scoop vanilla protein powder, any brand

½ cup plain greek yogurt (optional, I like it for additional protein)

2 handfuls ice cubes

 

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie:

2 handfuls baby spinach

2 spoonfuls all natural peanut butter

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1/2 cup plain greek yogurt

2 handfuls ice cubes

Orange Dreamsicle Smoothie:

2 handfuls baby spinach

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 medium orange (or 2 clemetines)

½ cup orange flavored water (this is optional, my favorite is sparkling ice orange)

1/2 cup plain greek yogurt

2 handfuls ice cubes

 

Chocolate Banana Smoothie:

2 handfuls baby spinach

1 medium banana

½ cup plain greek yogurt

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

2 handfuls ice cubes

 

Berry Blast Smoothie

2 handfuls of baby spinach

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

2 handfuls ice cubes

Blend all recipes on high until ingredients are completely mixed together.
