If you’re looking for a quick show to binge-watch on Netflix this weekend, look no further! Crazyhead is a perfect match for those of you who are into Supernatural and British comedies. The first season, being only six episodes long is perfect to binge-watch over the weekend. Featuring Cara Theobold (who also played Ivy Stuart in Downton Abbey!) and Susan Wokoma as the main heroines, the witty dialogue and interesting plot lines capture you from the very first episode.

Both Theobold and Wokoma portray two “seers” who can see when a human body is possessed by a demon. The demons create a formidable enemy, as most of the plot line centers around them trying to open the gates of hell. The plot points are unique and fast paced, so you won’t easily get bored with the show.

Why it’s worth the watch: According to Telegraph UK, the show is referred to as, “Bright, punchy, and genuinely funny.” The character of Raquel, played by Wokoma, provides comedic relief that had me laughing at its relatability and unique humor. In contrast, the character of Amy (Theobold) is relatable to how we would all be acting if we just found out we should see demons. In addition, there is a strong supporting cast in the series, such as Amy’s best friend Jake and Raquel’s older brother, who help to add depth and humor to the show as a whole.

Happy watching, and don’t forget to check out Crazyhead!
