If you’re a music buff like myself, you may know that amazing bands such as the B-52’s, R.E.M., The Black Crowes, and Widespread Panic all got their start in the Classic City. If you didn’t happen to know that fun little fact, it’s okay because after getting a taste of all the music Athens has to offer, you’ll want to know everything you can about this city’s awesome music scene. To help you get started, here’s a list of my top ten Athens bands and a favorite song from each.
