It’s a Global tradition of sharing love on the day of February 14. Traditionally women are expecting something special and they have their poor men struggle to rack their brains to find the perfect gift that will capture the love they feel for their mate. A Valentine’s Day gift has the possibility of taking your relationship to the next level. This very fact is what men take into consideration when they are choosing a gift for their mate. So don’t worry ladies, I took the liberty of going straight to the source (The Guys), I scoured the campus and got the inside scoop about what they were thinking about getting their girls this Valentine’s Day.  And here’s what they said:

Drew McLeod
Freshman Finance Major
“I’m thinking about taking my girl on a scavenger hunt, leaving notes all over campus that will lead to my location in a room, holding a teddy bear. How nice right?”

Chris Ramsey
Junior History Major
“Well the price really isn’t important I’ll make sure the gift is meaningful. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day anyway it’s over celebrated but I’d do it for my girl.”

Tunji Adebayo
Senior Pharmacy Major
“I guess it depends on what she likes and I will buy it.”

Reggie McClain
Freshman Communications Major (Baseball Player)
“If I had a girl I would get her a teddy bear and some chocolate. Maybe a movie too. “

Thomas Trinh
Sophomore Music Education Major
“I may start off with the standard chocolate and flowers, but then again I may treat it like her birthday, or maybe I would get her something that she could use like socks. Now that would be funny!”

DaManuel Richardson
Senior Film Studies Major
“I would definitely buy her a ticket to her favorite play. “
