90’s-Inspired Outfits with Thrift Store Clothes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

There has been a resurgence of vintage fashion in the past few years. Even Urban Outfitters offers styles that resemble pieces from earlier decades, however, these items are expensive when bought new at the store. It is completely possible to find similar pieces at thrift stores. For many years, I have bought clothes used or second-hand, and some of my favorite items have been thrifted. These 9 looks are inspired by 90’s fashion from movies and TV and include mostly thrifted items—included with the photos are the aspects of the outfit that I feel were trends in the 90’s.

Of course all thrift stores have unique pieces, but I found these clothes at either Goodwill, Value Village, America’s Thrift, or the Salvation Army. Hopefully these outfits will give you the vintage fashion inspiration you desire!
