Although we may not be able to go shopping in person like we used to, we have been able to fill that shopping void through virtual buying. One common thing that everyone seems to have been enjoying through this pandemic-season was a newfound splurge of impulse online shopping. So here are some of our favorite small businesses you can support right now (that also double for some great holiday gifts)!

P.S. They are all woman-owned, because girl boss, of course.

TheFreckledPeach

Run by Louisiana Tech student, Molly, The Freckled Peach is home to beautiful resin created earrings, keychains, and home furnishings. The shop features a growing collection of handmade accessories in an array of different colors, designs and styles. Many styles in the shop are one-of-a-kind, and each piece is made with love by hand. Our favorite pick, these “Jolie Butterfly Drop Earrings” ($20.00). Bom Skin & Co.

Created by Markeisha, Bom Skin & Co is focused on providing products for the ultimate self-care experience! The shop has a HUGE selection of different products including bath bombs, shower steamers, whipped body butters, body scrub, and so much more. There is also a great selection of different scents available in each product, so there is definitely something for everyone! Our favorite picks are the Coco Mango whipped body butter ($10.99) and body scrub ($15.99)! Mixed With Black Skincare

Avery, a mother of two, runs this skincare company completely by herself! The company’s tagline is where nature + luxury collide, and the brand showcases just that! Their website features a number of hair, body, and skincare products available for purchase. Plus, their products are vegan, all natural, and cruelty-free (which is a huge bonus). Our favorite pick is the potion hair serum ($27.99) that does wonders for hair growth and moisture as an anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory oil for your follicles. You can snag this magical hair potion and tons of other goodies at their website.

Sweet Stitch by KC

A black-owned handmade crochet shop created by sisters Kiah and Alise featuring some seriously creative pieces. Their Instagram shop has a number of original crocheted (and more) trinkets that will definitely brighten your living space. Items include crocheted cactuses, custom wall decor, pillows, pouches, and so much more. Our favorite pick? This ADORABLE Bao dumpling crochet based on the Disney short film ($20 with bamboo box, $15 without). 5th Lunar Embroidery

Owned and operated by Gloria, 5th Lunar Embroidery features the CUTEST custom embroidered branded white socks. Their Etsy shop features mainly white Nike socks embroidered with things like different colored flowers and Christmas lights. Plus, everything on the site is under twenty dollars, which is a total bonus! Our favorite piece, these hand embroidered nike daisy chain socks ($18.56). Sarah King Design

This shop, owned by Sarah, features custom wood-burned & laser-engraved gifts and decoration. Some available pieces include ornaments, wooden spoons, and wood cutting boards. Lots of the pieces are customizable, so they work for great Christmas gifts with family or friend name customization. All of their items are super affordable, and an added bonus? Right now shipping is free for the holiday season for all orders over twenty dollars! Owned and operated by Jeana and Danielle, TLC by J & D offers handmade skincare with 100% natural and organic ingredients. With scents like mango, strawberry, honey vanilla, pumpkin spice,  and vanilla fantasy, TLC by J & D offers whipped body butters, lip scrubs, and body scrubs. Our favorite is the rise and GRIND coffee scrub, perfect for pre-face mask exfoliation ($10-15 depending on size). Electric Stardust

Owned by Bella, Electric Stardust provides magical vintage pieces from the 1960s and 70s on their Etsy. The shop features a number of vintage, one-of-a-kind pieces to truly spice up your wardrobe. Plus some super great bonuses, their pieces typically have free shipping and the brand is known to host pop-up shops across the MetroAtlanta area (yes, Athens included!) Owned and operated by Stephanie, Indulgence Spa and Body sells a selection of products including lip balms, shower icing, body oils, bubble bath, facials, and SO MUCH MORE! Their products are always plant-based, paragon-free, and vegan friendly. Our favorite pick right now is this gorgeous whipped shower icing that can be purchased in a number of different scent and colors ($5 and up, depending on size).
