7 Concerts You Don’t Want to Miss

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

Concert season is upon us, so here are some of the biggest names in music headed your way. Seriously, everybody’s been dying to see them.

1. Bruce Springsteen

The Boss is currently playing shows throughout the U.S. with the E Street Band in his 2016 “The River Tour.” He’s set on playing the songs from his 1980 record, but don’t worry, he’ll also play your favorites to make sure you’ll be “Dancing in the Dark.”

2. Justin Bieber

What do you mean, Justin Bieber made the list? Well, yeah, his new music is actually kind of awesome. Even if we don’t want to admit it, we can’t seem to get “Sorry” or “Love Yourself” out of our heads. Oh, and if you really do love yourself, you should seriously consider buying a ticket to his “Purpose Tour” 2016.

3. Coldplay

Coldplay has a new album out and a new tour that is FINALLY coming to the U.S. Diehard fans will want to go ahead and reserve tickets, as the British band only plans to play seven shows during their “Head Full of Dreams Tour” in America.

4. Adele

Okay, Adele, if we can’t sing like you, can we at least sing with you at your concert? We’ll be the super-crazed fans in the front row screaming “Hello” at the top of our lungs. No big deal. Really though, buy a ticket to this show or cry in regret as you see each of your friends’ Instagram pics from the best night of their lives.

5. Dixie Chicks

Country fans – it’s been a “Long Time Gone,” but the Dixie Chicks are back in 2016 with their “MMXVI World Tour.” Kick on your cowgirl boots and blast those 2000’s records to get ready for banjos and acoustic guitars during a night of heartfelt country tunes.

6. AC/DC

Hard rockers AC/DC are traveling America playing their “Rock or Bust Tour” to millions of their biggest fans. Be sure to join the band in singing their classics, as well as their latest music.

7. Beyoncé

We couldn’t make a list of the best concerts without Queen Bey herself. Coming fresh off that Super Bowl halftime performance, Beyoncé’s 2016 “Formation World Tour” will arguably be the hottest concert this summer.
