6 Cute and Comfortable Fall Outfits You can Recreate

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

While some people dread the cold, others embrace it for the great feelings, pretty scenery, and fun holidays that come with the fall and winter months. For those of us who love fashion, the colder weather brings a new season of clothes where we can bust out the sweaters and boots and layer up! Whether you consider yourself to be a fall fashion lover or a cold-weather hater, here are some easy outfits you can recreate to stay warm, comfy, and cute all season long!

Teddy Coats: @sashaandchristy

Looking for a warm winter coat that won’t take away from your outfit? Try a teddy coat, like this comfy-looking one from J. Crew! Teddy coats were huge last season and have become a staple that everyone needs in their fall and winter wardrobe. Choosing a neutral color will allow you to wear this every day. To recreate this look go neutral with a crew neck sweater and thick leggings. Throw on a pair of booties and a small crossbody bag for an easy, comfortable, warm, and cute look! You can see @sashaandchristy on IG and YouTube as well as their blog for more great outfits!

Blazers: @k.els.e.y

Kelsey Simone’s outfits are always put together and stick to a neutral palette making it easy to mix and match each piece. She usually starts with a pair of jeans and this outfit is no exception. This is a great outfit if you live in places like Georgia where it is not super cold yet. You can find oversized blazers at most thrift stores which is a great place to start especially if you aren’t used to wearing blazers and want to try it out. A blazer is an easy way to dress up an outfit while adding an extra layer for warmth. You can dress it down with sneakers or a pair of chunky boots like Kelsey has here from ASOS. You can see more fall outfit ideas on Kelsey’s IG and YouTube channel!

Coats: @cocobeautea

If you ever look up fall outfit ideas on Pinterest, you will likely see a picture of Hannah from @cocobeautea. Her style is very chic and classic and incorporates coats into all of her fall outfits to keep her warm in the London weather. Hannah focuses on buying quality pieces that last for years. She gets many pieces from Arket such as turtle necks and sweaters. Most of her looks have outerwear as the statement piece or as an element of the whole outfit. Finding a printed trench coat like this one from Nanushka. If Nanushka or Arket is out of your price range, you can check out H&M or Zara for a coat this season like this one! You can find more of Hannah on her IG and YouTube channel!

Kohl’s Outfit Bar: @christineandrew

This year, fashion blogger and mom Christine Andrew partnered with Kohl’s to curate an outfit bar of some of her favorite stylish and affordable pieces. The fall outfit bar includes pieces and outfits for all sizes with links to every piece so you could recreate the entire outfit. This first outfit is great for those fall days where temperatures are still in the 60s and 70s like it is here in Georgia. You don’t want to be too cold during the morning times or during the day when you are in the shade, but you also don’t want to overheat in the sun. A cardigan, jeans, and mules are an easy fall outfit that looks put together, but is also really comfortable! You can see more of Christine’s styles on her IG and her blog!

Accessories: @essiegolden

This is one of my favorite outfits because it has so much style and personality without it being a super complicated outfit and the less complicated… the easier to put on in those mornings when you aren’t feeling it. A base of a white t-shirt and jeans is the perfect start to an outfit because the only thing you have to worry about is accessories. Essie goes for a long cardigan which is a great option for not only comfort but also style. This outfit can be really casual with a pair of white sneakers to match the t-shirt and add a backpack for an easy in-person class outfit or you can pair it with Chelsea boots either in a solid print or a fun animal print and a wide-brimmed hat. You can shop her outfit here and see more of her cute outfits on her IG!

Comfy Maternity Wear: @daniellamonet

If you are a fan of Trina from Victorious, then you probably already know Daniella Monet is having another baby! This is so exciting because 1) it’s fun seeing people who we watched growing up, growing up and 2) maternity wear can be so cute even for people who aren’t pregnant. Comfort is the main goal with maternity wear which honestly that’s all most of us want in an outfit. The outfit, the headband, the sneakers, the leggings! All pieces that are comfortable and stylish for any outfit whether you are pregnant or not!  The headband matching the sweater just elevates the whole outfit. You can easily throw on a coat and you are good to go! You can follow Daniella on her IG and her YouTube!

You don’t have to sacrifice style in exchange for warmth! Take it from these bloggers, YouTubers, and actresses and challenge yourself to recreate these looks. With a few pieces, you will find yourself putting together more comfortable, warm, but also fashionable looks this season!
