College can be a hard time financially for many people. Everything is so expense and let’s face it, school ain’t no joke. Â Even though school is expensive, you can still manage to look hella fine without emptying your pockets. Here is a list of some drug store make up that can get the job done without breaking the bank.
1. Maybelline’s Dream Lumi Concealer ($7.99)
I love this concealer. It usually costs between $6 and $9 at your local grocery store or convenience store. I’ve been buying this concealer for at least two years and it does very well to cover up dark spots or acne. I highly recommend purchasing this concealer if you have trouble with acne.
2. Maybelline’s Unstoppable Eyeliner ($7.23)
One of the problems I usually have with liquid eyeliner is when it smears on the top of my eyelid before it even gets a chance to dry. But with this eye liner, that’s not the case! This one is fairly light and easy to use, especially if you want to get the winged look! Again, it usually costs between $6 and $9 at your local grocery store, so you can buy this without breaking the bank!
3. Cover Girl Classic Color Blush ($6.49)
This blush doesn’t over-power your face and make you look clownish. It also lasts a pretty long time. I’ve had my blush for at least three months now, so you won’t be constantly replenishing it.Â
4. CoverGirl TruNaked EyeShadow Palette ($11.99)
Â
If you have brown eyes, you love your golds and browns. Palettes like these give you so many options to choose from and you can change which one you use from day to day without having to spend a ton of money. These palettes come in all sorts of colors to accommodate many different eye colors. They usually cost between $10 and $15 at your local drugstore but this is pretty cheap compared to other, high brands of makeup.
5. CoverGirl Queen Collection Lash Fanatic Mascara ($6.99)
Good mascara is a little harder to find on a smaller budget. I’ve spent the last two years testing tube after tube to try to find the right fit for me. For me, volume and length are the most important compontents that I look for in a mascara. I like this one because it has both of these components and, as a bonus, it’s pretty cheap.
Don’t fret if you don’t have the money to buy insanely expensive make up—it’s entirely possible to still look good while having a small budget. All of these products are high quality at a low price.Â
