Iconic Disney movies were a part of our childhood — and the magic doesn’t end just because we’re in college! Here are five upcoming Disney movies we can’t wait for!

Lady and the Tramp

Let’s be real — the live action animals are kind of weird, but who doesn’t love the classic tale of a bad guy (or in this case, dog) with redeeming qualities? Especially when that guy is pretty cute? With Tessa Thompson and Justin Thoreaux voicing the iconic characters and stars like Janelle Monáe and Sam Elliot rounding out the cast, it’s sure to be a hit.

Frozen 2

Frozen has dominated pretty much everything since its release six (!!!) years ago, and with good reasons! Sisterly love, Kristen Bell, “Let it Go,” Olaf not having a skull…or bones… cute trolls, Josh Gad, the list goes on! This upcoming movie expands Anna and Elsa’s world outside of Arendelle and will delve into why exactly Elsa was born with her powers.

Onward

Do I really need to say anything more than Chris Pratt and Tom Holland as brothers? But really, Pixar’s movies are pretty much always instant classics, so Onward has a lot to live up to. The movie focuses on the two brothers’ journey to find a little bit of magic in the world, and considering its already set in a suburban fantasy realm, it’s sure to be a wild ride.

Mulan

Granted, the 1998 animated movie will be hard to beat, but the live action is showing promise. Based off of a Chinese legend about a girl who goes to war in place of her father, the 2020 version won’t include General Shang but does include Yifei Liu as Mulan and Jet Li as the Emperor.

Raya and the Last Dragon

Disney seems to be on an animated fantasy kick, and I’m not mad about it! Based on the diverse cultures of Southeast Asia, Raya will be about a girl and her quest to find the last dragon to bring peace to her world. Featuring the voices of Cassie Steele and Awkwafina, it looks like this will continue Disney’s recent tradition of strong female leads.

All of these movies are coming out within the next year or so. Better get your popcorn popping! We’ve got a lot of magic to look forward to.
