So you’ve found the perfect one, huh? Or at least that’s what you think. Well, we’ll be the judge of that. Here’s a helpful guide from those of us at HCUGA to help you determine if he’s the one for you.

1. He never turns around.

We know, we know. He’s smart, he’s funny and he’s got an answer for every question your professor proposes, and sometimes, if he turns his head, you can make out his cute little profile. But trust us, no matter how long you stare lovingly at the back of his head from your spot six seats back and one row over, he’s not going to turn around.

2. He spells your name wrong.

Sure he gave you extra whip cream on your mocha latte, but is it really worth it if he can’t spell your name right? In fact, you’ve never actually seen your name spelled like that, ever. Is this a joke?

3. You’ve talked to him once.

How could you forget him? Two weeks ago you spotted him at your favorite bar downtown. You talked all night, he bought you a drink, and you’re pretty sure he was cute. But after low-key keeping an eye out for him these past few weekends, you haven’t seen him again. At this point, you probably won’t.

4. He’s a meninist.

Enough said, really.

So there you have it, some signs your guy might not be right for you. If your new crush does happen to fit any of these descriptions, cut him loose. Trust us, it’s for the better.
