Having a sister is great. She’s your first best friend and she knows your life better than anyone. Sure, she may drive you crazy sometimes. In the words of Hilary Duff’s character, Loraine, from Cheaper by the Dozen, “Sometimes I want to kill [my sister], but I would kill for her all the time.” Even though you’re in college and not with her all the time, these reasons still apply. You guys can talk without even talking. That’s something only sisters can do.
4. You have someone to talk to about anything
She’s your secret-keeper, vent-listener, and shoulder to cry on when you need it the most. You can tell her anything and she can do the same.
5. Gossip. All the time.
She knows the best gossip and always shares it with you. You might not even know the person, you just of them from the juicy stuff she tells you.
6. You can steal her foundation
First thing’s first, you can’t be without your foundation. And, you might not be the same color as your mom. But your sister is an instant match!
7. You like the same TV shows
You totally can binge watch Gossip Girl, 90210, Grey’s Anatomy or some other girly show together. And you can even talk about them like the characters are real people with your sis.
8. You have a great wing-woman
She knows your strengths and she can highlight them and make you look a whole lot better than you are. She can totally help you score a great guy.
9. You already have a bridesmaid
There’s no need to awkwardly pick your best of best friends. Being a maid of honor is basically a birth right of a sister.

She isn’t afraid to be brutally honest and tell you when you look like a homeless person or a freak in that “trendy” new look.
