Winter is many people’s favorite season, but I always found it hard to dress warmly and still look stylish. Luckily these three fashion trends are great for keeping you warm without compromising on style! The best part is they can be very affordable, which is great because you will want to wear it all season long!
1. Teddy Coats
Teddy jackets have become a fall/winter staple within the last few years and is not going out of style anytime soon. These coats come in a variety of colors, yet the neutral camel color is the most popular. Fashion bloggers post daily photos in these jackets since they can be worn in many different ways. You can make this piece a staple in your own wardrobe and challenge your inner fashion blogger by picking up a teddy coat of your own. Zaful, SheIn, and Walmart all have Teddy jackets under $40 so you can get your own at an affordable price that will last multiple seasons.
2. Over-the-Knee Boots
Over-the-knee boots are my favorite trend for the winter season! It is a simple and comfortable pair of shoes that can dramatically make your outfit look more fashion-forward. They come in a variety of colors and heel heights and if you are like me you will want to buy more than one pair. Almost every store sells over-the-knee boots but not all of them are extremely comfortable. Since the boots are versatile and you will likely want to wear them often, the shoes need to be of good quality, but at an affordable price. I bought two pairs from a shoe store called Shoe Land located in Duluth, GA. You can even order online! Even the chunky-heeled boots are very comfortable and have lasted two years already. 3. FAUX-Fur Vests
Cruelty-free fashion can still have a luxury feel! Faux fur vests are perfectly posh without using real fur from animals! They can be dressed up or dressed down and can easily change the look of your outfit. A basic flannel can even be dressed up with a faux fur vest. And they are comfortable! Who doesn’t love comfortable and stylish pieces in your wardrobe? Some people don’t think they can pull off a faux fur vest, but I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and try them out. One of my favorite faux fur vests was found at a thrift store for $5, but I’ve also found some from Forever 21 and Papaya for under $20!
