#WomanCrushWednesday: Lady Gaga

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

If there’s any female celebrity out there who has always been 100 percent true to herself, it’s Lady Gaga. From the moment she arrived on the scene, Lady Gaga has been unapologetically weird and done exactly what she wants to do. Even though she was classically trained, she made electro-pop albums and dressed in funky costumes because that’s what she wanted to do and how she wanted to express herself. Join me in making Lady Gaga your #WCW and follow her lead on expressing your individuality and being exactly who you are.

First of all, she has some killer songs.

She isn’t afraid to be weird.

She makes fabulous music videos.

And teamed up with Queen Bey. Talk about match made in heaven.

She’s super honest.

She speaks the truth about feminism.

And she says the most on-point things.

Like, seriously, she knows what’s up.

Don’t forget the time she surprised everyone at the Academy Awards.

She adores her fans.

She’s always there for them.

And she stands up for those who need it.

She’s true to her art.

And is super versatile in the type of music she makes.

And now she’s channeling her dark side in American Horror Story: Hotel. Is there anything she can’t do?!

Go ahead and blast Born this Way at full volume, and make Lady Gaga your Woman Crush Wednesday this week!

Petrana Radulovic is a senior studying English and Computer Science. She hopes to be a writer someday and live in the Pacific Northwest, where she will undoubtedly divide her time between sipping coffee at a local café and sipping coffee in her living room, working on her latest story. She enjoys singing when she thinks she’s the only person at home, obsessively watching America’s Next Top Model, and wearing all black no matter what the weather. In her future, she sees many cats and many books and many mugs. She is currently the Senior Editor for HerCampus UFL, but writes the occasional article because she can't help herself. This is her sixth semester with HerCampus.
