Spring semester is here, collegiettes, and with that we begin our descent into spring fashion! I know all of you lovely ladies are excited to show off your Winter Break purchases and I’m even more excited to spot you guys on campus. With the weather being on the chillier side, I was so happy to come across Allie Jones going out to Midtown in an adorable pair of faux leather shorts. Allie paired these cool shorts with a loose white blouse and complimented her edgy combat boots with thigh high socks. Where is your outfit from? “My blouse is from Nordstrom and the shorts, socks and bag are from Forever 21.”
What motivates your sense of fashion? “I am a huge animal activist, so I make sure that whatever clothing I buy is animal friendly; that basically means no real fur or leather.”
Where do you like to shop? “I’m from South Florida so whenever I go home I love going to South Beach and going into different boutiques.”
What do you tend to splurge on? “Shoes and perfume are really my No. 1 things, so I’ll always cave when it comes to those.”
What is currently on your fashion wish list? “I’m trying to branch out into using watches and bracelets more often, so I would say a Michael Kors watch.”
How would you describe your style? “I think it really depends on my mood and what I’m doing that day. In class I like to be comfortable more than anything, but when it comes to a night out with the girls, I like to have a bit more edge.”
