Summer is here! Get ready to lie in the sun, catch up on some much-needed sleep, and travel the world! Packing can be a headache, but you’re on summer vacation — give your brain a rest! Whether you’re flying overseas, cruising to the Caribbean, or road-triping across the country, I have perfect comfy, yet classic travel outfits for you!

By car: Patterned leggings are perfect for long car rides. They are comfortable enough to sleep in while you curl up in the back of the car, but the design detail bumps the look from lounge to daytime wear. I like to pair leggings with urban kicks, such as flat top sneakers. The shoes are comfortable and add some flare to the outfit. Try Nikes or Dunks in a fun metallic color to make the look more feminine. CAUTION: to wear these sneakers, you have to own and work the outfit!

By plane: When traveling somewhere foreign, you’ll want to look sophisticated, yet relaxed. Try a pair of lightweight pants and a loose designer T-shirt. Pants are a must on plane rides; you obviously want to protect your skin from the irritation of the germ-infested plane seats. If you want to glam up the look, accessorize with some gold or silver layered jewelry and gladiator sandals.

By boat: Cruise wear is similar to resort wear: country club casual. Show off your bronzed glow with a strapless maxi dress and wedges. The maxi dress gives you a put together look while still being comfortable and relaxing. I recommend wedges with maxis because it elongates the body. This is great for people like me who are on the shorter side.

Enjoy your summer, fashionistas!
