Fall as begun, and I could not be happier for a new season to start! I think we are all about ready to ditch the shorts and tanks, and bring out the jeans and boots. Fall is the time of year when people can indulge in little things that make them feel warm inside. It’s also the time of year that brings about the feeling of wanting to spend the soon-to-be holidays with a special someone.
This year, instead of worrying about not being alone, you should self-indulge in all the wonderful things fall has to offer.
What I love about fall is the food, the environment, and the friends and family you can share it with. But what I like most of all are the PUMPKINS! This is the perfect way to get over those midterm blues and take a personal day with your friends.
Today, my friends and I planned our fall party and brought out almost everything pumpkin scented or flavored. From the pumpkin ravioli to the Blue Moon Harvest Beer, fall brings friends and families close and gives us all a reason to share laughs and memories together.
This fall, I challenge you to set new goals, indulge in all that is pumpkin and sit around with some of your closest friends to release the tension fall semester brings.
Below are some of the fall essentials I think everyone should try:
1. Blue Moon Harvest Ale: This seasonal beer is the perfect blend of a hint of cinnamon and pumpkin flavored ale.
2. Pumpkin Cheesecake: Pinterest is filled with tons of these recipes and there is nothing better than coming home to a slice of heaven.
3. Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte: Especially now during finals weeks, we know this is going to make those long nights at the library worth your while.
4. Pumpkin Ravioli: Need I say more? Italian food and fall, what more can a girl ask for?
5. A Cinnamon Broom: Publix has a cinnamon broom in their floral section, which from personal experience makes your house smell like a warm country home. It definitely works better than any retail store candle.
Truth is… there is nothing is better than “fallin’ in love” with what fall has to offer!
