When people get into relationships, the nicknames that they give each other range from the day-to-day normal to the outright creepy.

There is nothing weirder than that couple that is all over each other saying pet names back and forth. We all know someone who has that back and forth comment war blowing up your Facebook news feed.

When I asked people about the cheesiest pet names they have ever heard, I got very funny and creative responses.

“Pooh-Bear.”
“Mr. Snuggles.”
“Pupi.”
“Cuddle bunny.”
“Pumpernickel buns.”
“Pookie.”
“Cherub.”
“Stud Muffin.”
“Shnookums.”
“Poopsy Doodles.”

Seriously? These names are hilarious yet pretty embarrassing.

However, rather than the occasional “babe”, “baby” or “honey”, some people actually use the names listed above to give their significant other a special name.

When you are in a relationship with someone you really care about, these are the little things that make each individual relationship different from the rest. Â

As Valentine’s Day approaches, you can definitely expect couples expressing their love in their own special way. They will be stocking up on candy, cards and cutout hearts to express those three words: “I love you.”

Truth is: no matter how cheesy these names may be, if your boyfriend calls you one of them you might be overcome by love, and be referred to as “the egg McMuffin of all girlfriends.”
