Some people will say that in life we are destined to fall in love with one person. However, there are those who dispute that thought with the idea that there are multiple people you can fall in love with.
We see this in every day life. People cheat on their spouse or significant other and people lead a double life all because they feel they are “in love with someone else.”
When it comes to your relationship the last thing you want to hear are those words: I am in love with someone else. Is it truly possible to be in love with more than person?
In my opinion, there is always going to be that person who you can love and care for them your whole life but you are not necessarily “in love with them.” When someone is in love with another person, you can love him/her through the good and bad and accept them 100 percent whole-heartedly.
We see it in movies all the time. In “The Notebook,” Allie was in love with Noah her entire life. She found love with Lon along the way, but it was a relationship she could never give herself whole-heartedly.
So if you find yourself in this situation you need to look deep within your heart and ask yourself what you truly want.
Truth is, struggling with your feelings about two people is not fair to anyone. You need to be upfront and think about whom you love and who you are in love with. Because at the end of the day, the person you are in love with is the person you need to be with.
You can love multiple people, but you’re in love once.
